Bengal Tigers of the Panthera tigris tigris subspecies. The iconic cat, apex predator, admired and endangered are said to be the smartest big cat and are amongst my favourite animals and a predominant subject matter in my artworks where they symbolise to me beauty, power, magnificence and bravery. As an endangered species. I wish to visually communicate that despite their perilous situation there is still much hope. My painting, based on a dream, celebrates aspirations and the joy that these beautiful animals bring and with more stringent laws and tiger conservation programs being implemented our desire is to see this spectacular animal increase and thrive; emerging, appearing and thriving again-in a quantum moment.
